The Silencer Co Sparrow 22 is the suppressor that started it all. It was the first suppressor SilencerCo ever built, and after fifteen-plus years it remains one of the most popular rimfire suppressors on the market. Built entirely from 17-4 stainless steel, the Sparrow 22 weighs 6.5 oz, measures 5.08" long, and carries a 1.07" outer diameter slim enough to clear factory iron sights on most .22 hosts. It is rated for .22 LR, .22 WMR, .17 HMR, .17 WSM, 22 Hornet, and 5.7x28mm, and is full-auto rated on .22 LR. The Sparrow 22 mounts directly on standard 1/2x28 threads and is compatible with Silencer Co' s Delta Adapters for non-standard thread patterns.

Maintenance Notes

Clean the Sparrow 22 approximately every 1,000 rounds, though more frequent cleaning may be needed depending on ammunition. Internal components — the monolithic core and half-tubes — can be cleaned using solvents, light abrasive media, or chemical dips. Do not use solvents or ultrasonic cleaners on the outer tube. If the outer tube finish becomes discolored, wipe with a high-quality gun oil to restore factory condition. Dry all components thoroughly before reassembly.
